Online Battle Video Submission Details

General Info

• Entries must be received at least one week prior to the battle date. Failure to do so will mean forfeiting the round.
• At the start of the video please clearly state your artist name, and location (state).
• The competitors need to submit their videos via zshare.net and email the link to our info email address (supplied directly to competitors).
• Videos must be the best quality possible with a max file size of 150MB (preferably less).

Solo Battles

Video submission date: 01/04/10 ::: Battle runs 01/11/10 - 01/24/10

• This video is your chance to freestyle solo.
• Solo must be between 1:30 - 2:00 minutes in length.
• Solo must be completed in one single take.
• The use of any looping/fx is prohibited.

MC Backing Battles

Video submission date: 01/18/10 ::: Battle runs 01/25/10 - 02/07/10

• This video is your chance to show how well you can support another artist.
• The competition organizers will supply competitors with a few acapellas from which to choose.
• Performance must be between 1:30 - 2:00 minutes in length.
• Performance must be completed in one single take.
• The acapella can be played back from a stereo/computer and the artist must beatbox live over the top.
• The use of any looping/fx is prohibited.

Cover Battles

Video submission date: 02/01/10 ::: Battle runs 02/08/10 - 02/21/10

• This video is your chance to show us your ability to translate a popular song and make it your own.
• The competition organizers will supply competitors with a list of songs from which to choose.
• Cover version must be between 1:00 - 2:00 minutes in length.
• Cover version must be completed in one single take.
• The use of any looping/fx is prohibited.
