Steve Foxx becomes Executive Producer of the American Beatbox Championships!!!

Feb 5, 2013

As the Co-Founder and CEO of the World Beatbox Association it is great excitement that the WBA promotes Steve Foxx to the role of Executive Producer of the American Beatbox Championships!!! I will be taking a background role. The first 3 years have been exciting, thrilling, full of joy, successes, great times, failures, lessons, and undoubtedly wonderful memories. As I move on to focus on familial issues and my professional life I want to be clear that I will still be around. Supporting and organizing the movement, simply in a different way. I intended to light a spark for the American beatbox scene. That fire is beginning to spread and I couldn’t be happier. As the scene continues to grow the WBA will work to lead forefront of this movement on a global scale. We seek to innovate and go beyond the expected, to push boundaries whilst respecting both the old and new whilst soaring with both. There is an ethos to our art of beatbox. It’s more than just being about battling. At our core will be the battle but we seek to push boundaries of beatboxers as performance artists. This is our mission.  We are excited to see what Steve Foxx the BEATBOX does with this years American Beatbox Championships!!!!1
